Hello! I'm Cindy Eliza, the person and brains behind Tour Borneo Malaysia and I have a severe case of wanderlust! I have an insatiable desire to travel the world and hope to cover as many UNESCO heritage sites as possible.
As I travel from a paycheck to paycheck basis, I try to travel every other month, at the same time, ticking items off my bucket list.
When I am not on the roads, I have a 9 - 5 job as a Social Media Manager at an American multi national company. At the same time, I work on this site and blog under the pseudonym of Travel-Bunny.
My three main passion in life includes travelling, photography and little kids.
I enjoy the little things in life such as a hot cuppa coffee in the morning and a glass of fine wine before I go to bed at night.
In January, 2009, my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer. The entire year was spent in and out of hospitals, chemo treatments, and more tests. Eventually, my dad passed away on 31st December 2009.
During that course of one year, I have grown to realise that life is too fragile and too short to be wasted. See, my dad was only 60 - he was still young and could have achieved so much more in life. He never got the chance to.
He loved going places - the adventures, the excitement, and the beauty. It was then that I decided to embark on my own adventures, so that in future, I will be able to pass down adventure stories to my kids; the way my dad did.
I have been to a few places in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and 10 out of 13 states within my country, Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak are my personal favourites. Not to mention the beauty and breathtaking views, also the cultures, food and the people there. I decided to build a site on Borneo Malaysia.
After a couple of failed attempts at blogging , I was desperate for a way out. I was in debt, I had to make payments for my studies (I was studying for a degree under University of London External Law Program), I had my car installment to pay off, rentals, and etc.
You know how it is with desperate times, and then something miraculously appear to save you? That was when I came across Site Build It! an all-in-one integrated system and all you have to do is learn the entire process through their Action Guide and keep creating quality content for your site. That's it - no programming skills required.
I started thinking, this SBI program could really work for me. Perhaps, it could be the birth of my independence - my financial freedom as it was for Sarah in this video:-
However, I still was not entirely convinced. A thorough research reveals more case studies of these successful Site Build It! web owners! By then, I was so excited to get started because I had loads of ideas for my website!
It was not easy at first. A lot of hard work, effort and countless sleepless nights spent on building my sites, I am finally earning a decent side income to complement my main income stream to provide me with a better and easier life.
I guess I will keep doing what I do best - travel, and building my sites. Eventually, I hope to focus wholly on my sites and start working from home.
Then, it will really be "Financial Freedom" for me.
With Solo Build It, I can lean back, close my eyes, take a deep breath, and enjoy my life.
What about you? Ready to start living?
